Marcia Schroeder

Chief Operating Officer


Marcia Schroeder joined The Ambassador Health System in 1982. Marcia served as the Director of Accounting Processes, Director of Financial Management and Insurance, Chief Financial Officer and recently has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.  

Marcia’s responsibilities over the years, have included overseeing the accounting operations, cost reports, audit preparation, reimbursement and rate analysis, budget development, securing and maintaining the company’s property, liability, workmen’s compensation, health and life insurance. She also was responsible for hiring and supervising the accounting department staff for The Ambassador Group.

Before joining The Ambassador, Marcia was employed for 13 years as an insurance agent and assistant office manager for an insurance agency. She held a property/casualty insurance agent’s license in the State of Nebraska.
