Corporate Director of Clinical Services 
Cheryl Eppenbaugh
Cheryl Eppenbaugh joined The Ambassador Health System in March of 1995 as the Director of Social Services at The Ambassador Nebraska City. Throughout the last twelve years, Cheryl has held a variety of positions with The Ambassador, including Social Services, Quality Assurance, Director of Clinical Services, and Director of Quality Management. Her latest position is that of Corporate Director of Clinical Services. As Corporate Director of Clinical Servcies, Cheryl is responsible for assisting the nursing departments at The Ambassador’s skilled nursing facilities to ensure that they are providing quality care to each of their residents.
Cheryl graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in Lincoln, NE. She is a certified Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator; a nationally certified position that works with a resident data assessment tool commonly used in long term care facility.
Cheryl’s past nursing experience includes many nursing management positions; specifically, Director of Nursing in the acute hospital setting, In-service Educator, Director of Medical Records, Director of Social Services, and Director of Nursing in the long term care setting. Clinically, Cheryl has experience in all general nursing areas including Medical Surgical, Emergency Room, and Intensive care.
