Mitch Jevne joined The Ambassador Health System 2001 as the Administrator to The Ambassador Omaha. Mitch holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration and has served as a licensed administrator of 17 years.  

Mitch is a proud member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA) and is an ACHCA certified nursing home administrator.

Mitch and his wife, Carla, have three children.

 

 

Debi Adams

Director of Clinical Services

 

Debi Adams joined The Ambassador Health System in April 2007. She worked as the Director of Nursing at a nursing facility in Ogallala, NE for seven years prior to moving to Omaha.   Debi graduated from Research School of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri in 1982. Debi is married to her husband, Floyd, and she has three children.

Kim Eby

Director of Social Services

 
Kim Eby joined The Ambassador Omaha in the winter of 2001.  Kim graduated from Creighton University in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and began her career in Medical Social Work thereafter.  Since 2007, Kim has served as the Director of Social Servcies as well as the Social Worker for the Medicare and Long Term Care Units at The Ambassador Omaha.  The Medicare Unit is designed for short-term residents that are receiving rehabilitation services.  Kim assists with the coordination of discharge planning for residents to assure the continuity of care and assist in the provision of meaningful social service interventions with families and residents. 
Kim is a member of The Ambassador Health System's Wellness Committee, which helps increase wellness among The Ambassador's staff and residents.

 

Tanya Forbush

Admissions Coordinator

 

Tanya Forbush joined The Ambassador Health System in August of 2009 as the Admissions Coordinator for The Ambassador Omaha.  Tanya has worked as a nurse for 17 years.  She received her education and training through the Army.  As the Admissions Coordinator, Tanya's main role is taking patient referrals from physicians and hospitals, and then helping those patients and their families with the transition from the hospital to The Ambassador.

Tanya has been married for 15 years and she and her husband have two sons.

 

 

Tyler Juilfs

Director of Human Resources

 

Tyler Juilfs joined The Ambassador Health System in August 2008 as the Director of Human Resources for The Ambassador Omaha.  Tyler graduated from Hastings College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.  While attending college, Tyler played tennis and received all-conference honors in 2006 and honorable mention in 2007.

 

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys hunting, skiing, tennis, and playing golf.  

 

 

Theresa Frahm

Nutritional Service Supervisor Assistant

 

Theresa Frahm began her career with The Ambassador Health System in December of 2008. Theresa currently serves as the Dietary Manager for The Ambassador Omaha. Theresa has an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree as well as a Diet tech certification. She has been working in foodservice for over ten years.


After graduation, Theresa looked to move to Omaha. Theresa decided to join The Ambassador Omaha as she valued the family environment that The Ambassador offered. Theresa finds motivation in the residents she works for and the fellow associates she works with. Theresa’s goal is to create delicious and nutritious meals.


In her spare time, Theresa enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Theresa is the proud mother of two beautiful children, Trey and Cecelia.

 

 

Larry Cornelius

Director of Recreational Services

 

Larry Cornelius is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).  He is the Recreation Director for the Recreation Therapy Department at The Ambassador Omaha.  Larry received his Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Programming in 1987 and a Master's Degree in Recreation Therapy in 1994 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).  He has been employed by The Ambassador Omaha since August 1988.

 

 

Rodger Kunkle

Director of Environmental Services

 

Rodger Kunkle joined The Ambassador Omaha in 2003 and currently serves as the Director of Environmental Services.  As the Director of Environmental Services, Rodger oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments.  Rodger received his Bachelor's degree from Bethel University in Biblical and Theological Studies with a minor in Greek and Music in Arden Hills, Minnesota, and his Masters of Divinity Degree from Bethel Seminary in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

 

Rodger worked as a Nursing Assistant for three years at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas.  He also worked in environmental services for the former Beverly Corporation in Valley, Omaha, and Tekamah, Nebraska for eleven years.  Rodger also has experience working in the restaurant business; where he worked for eight years as a line cook and kitchen manager. Rodger was in ministry in Minnesota, Kansas, and Nebraska providing training, youth ministries, and as a Pastor.  He was also a volunteer Chaplin at a state prison for nine months.  Last Rodger served as teacher and assisted in mentoring at a drug/alcohol half-way house in St. Paul, Minnesota for two years.

 

Rodger lives in Elkhorn with his wife Laura, of 25+years.  They have six children and one grandson.  Rodger enjoys collecting stamps, coins, antique cameras, Boy Schout equipment, literature, uniforms, old books, sports  cards, and other miscellaneous things.  He also enjoys woodworking, raising a garden, playing drums in the Church Worship Team, Boy Scouts, reading philosophy and theology, preaching, teaching, and occasionally writing.
