Heather White, RN

Heather White joined The Ambassador Health System in October 2008 as the Director of Clinical Services at The Ambassador Sidney. Heather brings to the company two years of experience as a nurse manager. Heather has done everything from working as a Charge Nurse to Staff Development Director to Assistant Director of Nursing. She has also had ten years of experience working in Long Term Care as CNA and nurse.  
 
Heather's family consists of her husband, three children, and two dogs.  In her spare time, Heather enjoys watching her children participate in sports, coaching her son’s soccer team, camping, and taking long summer walks.

Vicki Smith

Director of Social Services/Admissions/Marketing

 

Vicki Smith joined The Ambassador Sidney in July of 2007 as the Director of Social Services, Admissions, and Marketing.  Vicki's responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the admissions process, marketing The Ambassador Sidney's services to local communities, and serving as the residents' and their family's advocate.  Vicki has been a member of the health care industry for nine years, serving in both an acute and post acute setting. 

 

Vicki has been married for seven years and has three children.  Vicki and her husband farm and own a bull riding business that allows them to travel to different states putting on bull rides.  Vicki's family is the most important thing in her life; they are her hobby and anything that includes them makes her complete.  Vicki's life motto is, "Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much."

 

 

Joyce Gorham

Director of Human Resources/Administrative Assistant

 

Joyce Gorham joined The Ambassador Sidney in July of 2007 as the Director of Human Resources and Administrative Assistant.  Joyce brought one year of human resources experience and seven years of administrative assistant experience to the position.  Joyce's primary responsibility is to work as an advocate for the employees of The Ambassador Sidney.  She conducts training for new employees, enters payroll information, assists department managers with employee relations, and has many secretarial duties.  Joyce is also a member of the Employee Involvement Committee, Safety Committee, and serves as a marketing team member, marketing The Ambassador Sidney's services to local communities.

 

When Joyce is not working at The Ambassador Sidney, you will find her enjoying time with her husband and their three children.  Joyce also enjoys Iowa Hawkeye football, playing sports, singing, dancing, baking, and shopping.

 

 

Robin Weisbrook

Director of Nutritional Services

 

Robin Weisbrook joined The Ambassador Health System in September of 2004. As the Director of Nutritional Services, Robin is responsible for providing nutritious and appealing meals to the residents. Robin began her career with The Ambassador Sidney as a night cook, and then she moved to day cook/dietary aide before becoming the assistant dietary manager, which led to her promotion to a new role as Director of Nutritional Services in 2008.
 
Robin obtained her GED in December of 2004 and went on to complete the Dietary Manager course at the University of North Dakota. Robin has also taken the ServSafe Course. Robin is motivated by her desire to care for others in need and takes great pride in putting a smile on the residents’ faces. Robin’s goal is to provide the best care and nutritional services to the residents.
 

 

Lora Howard

Director of Activities

 

Lora Howard joined The Ambassador Sidney on February 4, 2009.  Lora has been a part of the health care industry for nine years, working with chiropractors and medical doctors.  Lora also has a license in Cosmetology and has completed the Activity Coordinator Course.  Lora's responsibilities as Activity Coordinator include planning activities and meeting the needs and wants of the residents in activities of their choice.

 

Lora enjoys visiting with residents and hearing their stories; as there is so much to learn from each resident.  Her family is very important to her and she spends as much time with them as possible.  When Lora is not working, she can be found spending time with her grandchildren, going to the zoo, on a picnic, watching movies, or working in her yard.

 

 

Debra Brake

Housekeeping/Laundry Coordinator

 

Debbie Brake joined The Ambassador Sidney on January 7, 1992 in the housekeeping department and was promoted to Environmental Services Supervisor in 2002. 
 
Debbie's main goal is making sure the facility is a safe, clean, and homelike environment for residents, their families, and friends.  She takes pride in the work that she does and welcomes compliments from visitors.
 
Debbie is the mother of 4 children and has 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson.  She enjoys spending time with her family and likes to take long walks. 

 

 

Mike Allen

Maintenance Director

 

Michael "Albert" Allen brings 24 years of experience to The Ambassador Sidney as the Maintenance Director.  Albert worked for the Sidney Health Center for nineteen years before The Ambassador Sidney purchased the facility in 2004.  He is motivated to keep everything in working order and making sure that the daily operations of the building go as smooth and problem-free as possible.

 

Albert was born and raised in the Sidney area.  He resides in Sidney with his wife and his dog.  Albert enjoys watching Nascar Racing and golfing in his spare time.
