The Ambassador Health System supports employee involvement and empowerment through the Employee Involvement Committee (EIC), located at each facility. The EIC is composed of employees from all departments and the main focus is to create positive work environments and high staff morale. The Ambassador Health System’s Employee Involvement Committees work year round on the following projects:
- Special events to recognize staff and their family
- Fundraising to support community events
- Recognition for facility Employee of the Month
- Daily morale boosters
The Ambassador Lincoln EIC Joins in Heart Walk
Annually, The Ambassador Lincoln EIC raises funds for the American Heart Association. In the spring, they sponsor various fund raisers including a potato bar, rootbeer floats, and a salad bar. The funds raised go towards the Heart Walk. which is held each May. EIC usually raises between $250-$300 each year, that is then given to The American Heart Association.
When EIC does fund raisers, they accomplish two things: they raise money for the Heart Walk, and provide fun food activities for the associates of The Ambassador Lincoln.
