Class Descriptions
Step Circuit - Step up your workout and get fit with this fun and intense workout. Options are provided for all levels from beginners to the advanced.
Indoor Cycling - A 45 minute class for any age and any fitness level! Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, you set the pace. No sign up needed-class spots are open on a first-come bases.
Water Aerobics - Use the resistance of the water to tone, shape and burn fat! Class provides a total body
workout focusing on all major muscle groups. Participants do not need to be able to swim. (Deepest point in pool is 4ft).
Zumba - This program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away! starts September 7th
Sculpting - Develop muscle tone and strength with this 60 minute class! Boost your metabolism by increasing your lean body mass. This class is a great addition to your cardiovascular workout.
Yoga - This is a 45 minute class consisting of stretching and muscle toning exercises while relaxing your mind!
Bodypump - This class is designed to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories. Starts September 13
Pilates - Improve your posture, balance, and flexibility while developing core strength in this 45 minute class.
Beginning Indoor Cycling - Now is the time to try Indoor Cycling! Taught by Carol Stehlik, this is a great introduction into Indoor Cycling. Class lasts 20-30 minutes.
Cardio Step Strength Stations - Tired of getting the same results & want to spice up your workout? This class uses weights & steps to take you through cardio and strength stations sure to rev up your metabolism!
Instructor’s Choice - Mix up your workout and burn calories with this variety class. Classes may be Step, Step Circuit, Yoga, Sculpting, Stability Ball or Cardio Strength Stations! Class will be posted in the room each week.
Core and More!! - This 45 minute class will emphasize moves that work your core! You also will work other key body parts to help get ready for the summer months.
Tumbling - This class will teach boys and girls ages 3-7 the basics of gymnastics. Children will work on balance, coordination and flexibility. Children must be pre-registered for the class at the front desk.
Toddler Tumbling - This 30 minutes class is for 2-3 year olds. Children will work on coordination and flexibility all while having fun. Children must be pre-registered for the class at the front desk.
Stretch & Flex - This 45 minutes class includes seated aerobic, strengthening & stretching exercises, balance & movement exercises. A variety of equipment is used including Therabands, exercise balls and hand weights.
Tai Chi for Better Balance - Move through movements that will help you relieve stress, increased flexibility, and improved balance. This is a low impact and gentle class great for those of any age!
Circuit Orientation - Let our Personal Trainers show you how to use the strength circuit. This class includes instruction for the cardio equipment and gives you a chance to ask questions! Sign up at the front desk prior to class.
Step 101 Aerobics - A class where everyone is new and no one knows the moves...yet! Taught by Kay DeFreece this class is a great intro to Step Aerobics.
Swim Stroke Development - This one hour class is open to any member and designed to help you build endurance and keep you fit for the swim season.
Active Kids - This is a structured class for kids from 3-7 years old. Kids will engage in physical activity while having fun and learning how to follow directions, improve hand-eye coordination, and playing fair.
